This original oil painting by Robin Springett is inspired by the John Carpenter movie, Big Trouble, Little China. 
 
This movie is about as 80s as it comes. Kurt Russel at his absolute, cocky best, balanced against a brilliantly written script that keeps his feet firmly on the ground. This painting aims to capture a little of that 80s action movie energy; neon lights, guns and cocky charm.
