All in the Reflexes - Print

Inspired by the John Carpenter movie, Big Trouble, Little China, a movie that's about as 80s as it comes. Kurt Russel at his absolute, cocky best, balanced against a brilliantly written script that keeps his feet firmly on the ground. This painting aims to capture a little of that 80s action movie energy; neon lights, guns and cocky charm.

All of my paintings have been created in my Northamptonshire studio in oils on a rigid support. A grisaille underpainting was painted first in a traditional style before colour was added.
